Forming a new collaborative partnership in the London and South East region, SES and main contractor Galliford Try are delivering this project on behalf of The Portman Estate. SES will be responsible for the design and installation of full MEP services on this prestigious landmark development.

The seven-storey 84,000 sq ft building, just north of Marble Arch, will comprise more than 34,000 sq ft of office space and will also include 24 apartments, a school and a restaurant.

This new win is the latest addition to SES’ expanding portfolio of major and transformative London projects, which already include Grade A office building, S2 and The Plimsoll Building at King’s Cross and Barts Square Phase One, a new £110m high-end residential development in the St Bart’s Hospital area in Farringdon.

With the Seymour Street project located between two popular city-centre hotels and with limited space on site, the company’s innovative offsite manufacturing solutions delivered through BIM and its use of its Prism prefabrication facility will be critical.

David Jenkins, Business Director London and South East, SES said:

“SES goes from strength to strength and this latest contract win is testament to our technical capability, expertise and track record delivering high-profile London developments which are transforming key areas of the city.

“With a breadth of major project experience in central London, our expert teams are ideally placed to work on this exciting development. The use of our offsite Prism facility to deliver prefabricated service modules and risers will be critical given its busy, central location.

“We understand the client’s expectations and are working closely with Galliford Try to ensure that we deliver a high quality project, on time and on budget.”
