We’re proud of the exceptional hard work, resilience and dedication of our teams delivering major critical projects for customers up and down the country, while rigorously following government guidelines and advice on social distancing and hygiene measures.

We would like to share with you how we’ve come together and collaborated as a business to achieve this.

Since the 48 hour lockdown the majority of the sites we are working on are now up and running and our teams that have returned to site, like all of us, have had to adjust to the new ways of working.

The health and safety of everyone involved in what we do has always been our number one priority and with support from our industry, the Government has developed new site operating procedures to allow work to continue safely and in a way that observes social distancing guidelines.

Everyone onsite is responsible for ensuring that they adhere to the social distancing guidelines and apply the 2 metre social distancing rule at all times. It is difficult to change what has been normal behaviour for decades, but the can-do attitude and commitment displayed by our site teams has been overwhelming.

SES’ essential site operating procedures

The Government has developed new site operating procedures to allow work to continue safely and in a way that observes social distancing guidelines.

Site and project teams across SES are working hard to ensure that site operating procedures are followed, so that we continue to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our teams.
