We’ve strengthened our Central team with a new Operations Director
We’re pleased to announce that Marco Lorenzana Sanchez has been promoted to the role of Operations Director, overseeing our Midlands portfolio within our Central region.
Marco began his career through the Laing O’Rourke graduate scheme, where he built a strong foundation across a range of complex sectors and projects. Through his commitment, capability and leadership behaviours, he progressed into senior delivery roles before joining SES as Preconstruction Manager, later progressing to Project Director.
Since joining SES, Marco has played a key role on major projects and has consistently demonstrated the behaviours we value as a business. He leads with integrity, brings clarity and energy to teams, and has a genuine passion for developing people and delivering the right outcomes for our clients. His drive, professionalism and people-focused approach have been central to his progression through the ranks.
More recently, Marco has been involved in the final stages of the CamLife projects and has been instrumental in work winning across the Central region, covering the Midlands and Northern Home Counties. As Operations Director, he will now take responsibility for leading and growing our Midlands business.
I am delighted to step into the role of Operations Director in the Central Region after nearly six fantastic years with the business. Thank you to the SES leadership for the trust placed in me and for the support of so many talented colleagues along the way.
