Launched alongside the latest update to CIBSE TM39 guidance, the new certification scheme provides a recognised route for professionals to demonstrate competence in building performance metering. The initiative has been developed by industry practitioners to ensure the knowledge, skills and standards required for effective metering are clearly defined and independently validated.
As buildings become increasingly data-driven, accurate metering is essential for understanding how assets perform in operation, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring energy and carbon targets are achieved.
