Reimagining sustainable city-centre development
At Wellington Place 11 & 12, sustainability was embedded from the outset, creating one of the UK’s most advanced and future-ready commercial developments. Working closely with the client, MEPC, our team helped reimagine what the post-pandemic workplace could be, delivering a building that combines exceptional environmental performance with cutting-edge technology.
The 254,879 sq. ft mixed-use development was designed using a fabric-first approach, reducing energy demand through highly efficient building design before incorporating innovative low-carbon technologies. As a fully electric building powered by 100% low or renewable energy sources, Wellington Place demonstrates how commercial developments can significantly reduce operational carbon while creating healthier, more productive spaces for occupants.
