Mark Tant was appointed Interim Regional Managing Director for SES Engineering South in April 2026. In this role, Mark is leading the Engineering South division, providing continuity while SES progresses the permanent recruitment process later this year.
Mark brings over 40 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry and has held a number of senior leadership roles. He was previously Managing Director at both Shepherd Construction and Wates Construction, building a strong track record of operational leadership, customer focus and delivery excellence across complex, large-scale projects.
As an experienced construction industry leader, Mark is passionate about people, customers and finding practical solutions in an ever changing industry. He is focused on driving efficiency and embracing digital transformation, recognising the critical role technology plays in improving performance, productivity and outcomes. This aligns closely with SES’s ambition to be the UK’s leading engineering and technology partner in UK construction.
