Reimagining sustainable city-centre development
100 At the heart of Leeds’ thriving West End, 11 & 12 Wellington Place sets a new benchmark for sustainable commercial development. Comprising over 250,000 sq ft of premium office, leisure, and retail space, this landmark project is not only the most sustainable building in Yorkshire – it’s one of the most sustainable in the UK.
11 & 12 Wellington Place has achieved a NABERS five-star in-use rating, becoming the first UK building designed under the Design for Performance framework to receive this. The project exemplifies what’s possible when intelligent design, digital engineering, and a fabric-first approach come together. The two buildings, standing 10 and 11 storeys high and connected by a striking link bridge, form a key part of the wider Wellington Place masterplan, one of Europe’s most impressive business quarters.
