We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven FP&A Finance Business Partner to join our growing FP&A team within WPS on an 18 month fixed term contract. This is a key role supporting both the FP&A function and the wider Finance team, offering great exposure across the business and strong development opportunities 🚀

🔍 About the role

Working closely with the FP&A team and Head of FP&A, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality financial insight and reporting. You’ll provide regular updates on workload, reporting, reconciliations and queries, and act as a trusted finance partner across the business.

Your key areas of focus will include:

• 📈 Balance Sheets, Working Capital and Cashflow Statements
• 🧾 Monthly Board reporting
• 🔄 Supporting the integration of a new acquisition into “business as usual” reporting

✅ What we’re looking for

You’ll be a qualified finance professional (CIMA or ACCA preferred) with post‑qualification experience and a strong grounding in core finance principles, including:

• Debits & credits and double‑entry journals
• Accruals, overheads, P&L and balance sheets

You’ll also bring:

• 📊 Strong report writing and financial analysis skills
• 💻 Intermediate Excel capability
• 💬 The ability to communicate clearly and influence Finance and Commercial stakeholders
• 🔎 A big‑picture mindset, with the confidence to analyse trends and challenge the numbers
• 😊 A positive, enthusiastic and can‑do approach

🤝 About you

You’ll be a team player who can also work independently, with excellent attention to detail — particularly during busy periods such as month‑end, year‑end and audits. You’ll be self‑motivated, diligent and keen to continue developing your career within Finance.

While this is an 18‑month FTC, the role offers valuable exposure in a dynamic finance environment and is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their FP&A and business partnering experience.
