📍 West Midlands

🏢 WPS

Bring your energy for fast-paced repairs and people leadership to our growing WPS business in the West Midlands. You’ll support the Project Lead day‑to‑day — and step up to lead the contract when needed — while keeping operations safe, compliant and on track across Voids, Disrepair, Day‑to‑Day Repairs and Planned Works. 🚀

What you’ll do

  • Run an efficient operation — optimise resources and embed practical policies and procedures that hit contract requirements and KPIs. 🔧📊
  • Own the workflow — make sure all work orders land within target dates and that multi‑trade jobs are booked correctly (right trades, right time, pre‑inspections when needed). ⏱️🔁
  • Lead people & partners — coach, support and performance‑manage our administrators, operatives and sub‑contractors so everyone knows their targets and delivers. 👥🎯
  • Champion quality & customer care — drive pre‑ and post‑repair inspections, routine quality checks and proactive communication that keeps customers informed. ✅💬
  • Grow capability — help onboard new colleagues, run regular competency checks and deliver toolbox talks/team meetings that build a high‑performing culture. 🧰📚
  • Report & improve — produce weekly contract performance updates, investigate incomplete jobs, and contribute to monthly client performance reviews. 🗂️📈
  • Partner with the client — maintain a constructive, solutions‑led relationship with client reps, supporting performance reports in approved formats. 🤝
  • Manage variations & complaints — handle variation requests correctly and resolve queries/complaints from staff, clients and customers. 🧩
  • Put safety first — manage H&S across the contract in line with our Operating Framework; ensure PPE, vehicles, ID, and site standards are spot‑on. 🦺🔒
  • Support the commercials — keep a close eye on operating costs and productivity metrics, working with commercial colleagues to ensure the contract’s success. 💷📊

What you’ll bring

  • Proven supervision experience in a repairs & maintenance environment (multi‑trade operations).
  • Confidence leading teams and supply chain partners, with clear, timely communication.
  • A track record of meeting KPIs, improving productivity and raising quality.
  • Strong planning/scheduling instincts and the ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Solid grasp of health & safety compliance and excellent stakeholder management.

Why join us

  • Be part of a growing West Midlands operation with genuine scope to shape how we work. 🌱
  • A supportive team culture with regular feedback, development and progression opportunities. 🤝📈
  • Meaningful, customer‑focused work that makes a real difference in our communities. 🏘️
