Every day we are working across the UK delivering homes, offices, schools, hospitals and much more. We are incredibly proud of the work we do to support and help the communities where we work and thrive.

We are in a position to make a positive impact and we believe that the way we behave as a business should contribute to the sustainability of the wider world. Our approach to sustainability is delivered through a framework called Reshaping Tomorrow. Reshaping Tomorrow sits at the heart of what we do, underpins the long term sustainability of our business and builds on our values of performance, intelligence, teamwork, integrity and respect for people & communities.

We are committed to leaving a lasting legacy through the work we do. Raising the aspirations of young people and inspiring them to consider careers in the built environment; supporting those who are furthest removed from the labour market and investing in local businesses and social enterprises enables us to make a difference to people and local communities.

Our people are the face of SES and everyone plays their part in supporting the community engagement agenda. ‘Community & Conservation’ is a Group approach to support local communities and minimise our environmental footprint. Annually our ‘Community & Conservation’ week provides a great opportunity for employees across the UK to come together and give something back to their local community by working on a project of their choice or by supporting The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), our Group Corporate Charity Partner.

We also support our people to make a considerable contribution to communities through our Volunteering Impact and Professional Development programme whereby we support our employees by providing up to 16 hours paid time per year to enable them to volunteer and actively engage in local educational projects promoting sustainability within construction.
