SES was selected to undertake the installation of all mechanical, electrical and public health services for this new research and technical centre for global lubricant and fuel additive company Infineum

The project included the construction of laboratories and an oil blending facility at Milton Hill in Abingdon, Oxford. The SES contract involved the installation and commissioning of all the associated heating and ventilation, air conditioning, laboratory gases, fume cupboards, specialist facilities, hydraulic systems, lifts, security systems, fire alarms and all electrical installations.

SES's exceptional safety record was a paramount factor in being awarded this contract, as client Infineum looked to mirror the high standards of safety within the petroleum industry. A rigorous health and safety regime was implemented on site in conjunction with Wates Construction, including a mandatory eye protection policy for all operatives, incentive schemes and controlled traffic management system.
