SES has recently completed a new energy centre for AstraZeneca R&D Charnwood at Loughborough.

The work involved the installation of four Wellman Robey steam boilers

rated at 18,000 Kg/hr each. Treated boiler feed water was provided via water softening and reverse osmosis units. A mast and flue structure to aheight of 50 metres was installed with provision for a further two boiler flues.

The contract also included extensive cold water storage facilities with distribution to the site via large non-domestic and domestic booster pump sets.
