Congratulations to Dale Wood, Josh Derry and Josh Skitt on their recent achievements at the Yorkshire Building Engineering Services Training (BEST) Awards.
The Awards ceremony took place on 19 January 2013 and was part of the annual Building and Engineering Services Ball. Prizes were awarded across 11 categories to building services apprentices from across the Yorkshire region.

Shepherd Aligned has donated some high-visibility vests to every pupil at two Trafford Schools. The vests were donated to Kings Road and Seymour Park Primary Schools in Old Trafford as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agreement with Trafford Council.

SES is once again demonstrating its commitment to the environment as well as bringing some festive spirit to the community. Instead of sending out Christmas cards, each year SES donates a Christmas tree and decorations to seven children’s hospices - each one close to our seven regional offices.

On the first of two contracts, SES has been appointed to provide a range of M&E services on the 268,000 sq ft Grade A office development at One St Peter’s Square in Central Manchester and the second contract will see SES convert the former Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester, into a hi-tech 100,000 sq ft biomedical centre of excellence.

SES’s London and South East office has announced its recent appointment to two new projects with a combined contract value of £11million.
The first contract will see SES take to the stage at the internationally renowned National Theatre and the second contract is a complex overhaul of building services to an 11-storey office block on Victoria Street, London.

SES apprentice, Josh Skitt, has earned himself a Bronze medal at the national UK Skill Pipe Finals. Josh competed with fellow apprentice, Josh Derry, at this year’s World Skills UK Competitions, held recently at the Birmingham NEC.

The SES South West team has announced it has secured its place on a circa £15million design and build contract win within the blue light sector, marking the largest win to date for its regional office.

Promising young electrician Josh Derry, has been named as Leeds College of Building’s, ‘Electrical Installation Apprentice of the Year’. The good news does not end there; Josh will be competing with fellow Apprentice Josh Skitt at this year’s finals of the WorldSkills UK Competitions, at the Birmingham NEC.
