The project included an 8-lane outdoor athletics track and field facility with seating for 500 spectators, plus an indoor athletics hall housing a 60m sprint straight, within a 200m athletics track. Linked to this is the new National Squash Centre offering world-class facilities, including a manoeuvrable exhibition court. Adjacent to this is the new Lawn Tennis Association Centre of Excellence, providing six indoor and six all weather outdoor courts.

Facilities have also been provided to support the training and preparation of the athletes. These include a health & fitness suite with warm-up area, sports medicine rooms, administration offices and ancillary accomodation.

Part of SES' work included installing a Building Management Systems to the athletics hall and Squash Centre.
