Leading Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) service provider, SES, has launched a brand new careers website, aimed at giving potential candidates a new way of accessing a career in the M&E market.

Lisa Stevenson, HR Director at SES, said: “Successful staff recruitment, retention and development are pivotal to our business strategy. Launching a careers website, not only illustrates our determination to appeal to a wider audience and attract the right people to our business, but shows that we’re keen to build a future pool of designers, engineers and trade specialists who can continue to deliver the best service available to our clients.”

This exciting new website initiative was designed and implemented by O’Connor HR Partner, a York based company, with a specialism in career website development.

Emma Docherty, Account Manager at O’Connor HR Partner, explains how this site has been developed, “From the start, it was clear that SES understood the difference between a job board and a careers website. This understanding allowed us to work together to create a site which, not only listed vacancies, but enabled us to fully inform candidates about working at SES.”

Lisa Stevenson concludes, “We’re delighted with the results we’ve seen from the website, so far. We’ve already had almost 1,000 people visit the site since it launched in late July.

“We’re now developing an interactive Flash movie on the site, where candidates can explore the various career paths available to them as they progress with SES.”
