Twenty one separate air handling plants, each served with heating and chilled water from central boiler and chiller plantrooms supply conditioned air to all public areas and bedrooms. The bedrooms and smaller meeting rooms have the additional independent environmental control afforded by fan coil units.
The hotel also benefits from full sprinkler protection, fire detection/alarms, BMS control and an ‘intelligent’ programmable dimmer controlled lighting system. Special features interlock the lighting to the fire detection/alarm system, automatically raising all lighting levels to maximum under alarm conditions.
