SES

As part of the Government’s initiative to increase the performance of schools in deprived urban areas, this academy was developed to focus on science and technology and provides 1,150 secondary school places. Features of the academy include a new 11,000m2 teaching block, an all-weather floodlit sports pitch and a fully networked IT system, resulting in 21st century facilities for staff, pupils and the local community.

SES’s £3.65 million contract involved the installation and commissioning of all M&E building services to this impressive building, which included ventilation, lighting, drainage, telecommunication wireways, public address system, sound amplification and security systems.
