SES

SES was selected to install the full Mechanical & Electrical building services to the new Education Village in Darlington

This new campus is built on the site of the Haughton Community School and is one of the first in the country to be built under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI). The £37.3 million Education Village has the capacity to teach 1400 pupils from the age of three to 19.

The SES contract comprised all domestic services including air conditioning to certain areas of the facility, ventilation, fume extraction and a centralised Building Management system. SES contributed numerous innovative ideas to be used on the M&E aspect of the project in the early stages of the contract.
