Working with principal contractor Carillion, SES was appointed to complete the £2.7m building services contract for this prestigious 8-storey office building located opposite Piccadilly Station in central Manchester.
Part of the south-side regeneration, Piccadilly Place offers 55,000sq ft of purpose built office space with excellent transport links, which includes being situated next to one of Manchester's busiest tram lines. The building also includes a 3-storey underground car park adjacent to the site.
SES completed the fit-out to the main building, including air conditioning, lighting, access control, domestic services, fire/intruder alarms and ventilation. In the car park, the contract included a fan extraction system, lighting and power. Due to future construction planned above the car park, SES also installed the necessary supporting infrastructure and drainage to accommodate such projects.
