Appointed as Principal Contractor, SES was selected to modify and upgrade the mechanical and electrical building services to this three-storey office development for energy giant Centrica.

The fast-track refurbishment involved stripping the existing building back to it’s shell and core, and upgrading the infrastructure to the clients requirements. This included state of the art training suites and video conferencing, open plan office areas and food & drink facilities.

Services upgraded by SES include a new Communications Rooms (with associated hub rooms), improved electrical services, upgraded lighting and small power, new chillers with ‘free cooling’ facility and chilled water connections for supplementary borehole coding.

New Bridge House is now a fully operational contact call centre for British Gas, housing over 850 staff.
