SES was appointed to provide mechanical and electrical services for this combined new build and refurbishment project for Littlewoods Home Shopping Direct.

The project involved the construction of two buildings, which house a data centre and warehouse/racking facility, and the fit-out of an existing Grade II listed World War 2 aircraft hangar which has become Littlewoods HQ and call centre.

As part of the M&E contract, SES provided mixed mode ventillation via a unique York International system in two of the buildings, suplemented by traditional installations. High capacity/volume air conditioning was installed to the data system alongside sophisticated gas suppressant extinguishing systems.
